I used to do that but found that I didn't sleep as well when I did. So, I experimented with the times and found that if I take it between 1 AM - 3 AM it works best for me. That's not a problem for me because I generally wake up between midnight and 2 AM anyway....so I just take it then. It's different for everyone so you just have to find your niche.
