I have had all my top teeth removed (gad that was awful) two months ago and am slowly getting used to the plate. I have spent many times going back to the denturist for adjustments for sore spots. Up to now that worked. I have had a really sore spot at the back top gum and it is very sore. The denturist today "dremel-ed" the plate several times and it is still sore. She suggested I go home, rinse with salt water and wait until Monday for a re-look. She said perhaps it is a bone fragment working its way out from the extraction?? It may just come out on its own or I may have to back to the DENTIST !! to have it removed. Has anyone else had this? It's bad enough getting these false teeth ...read: hate them, but now to face something else?
