*** While those addicts you describe are almost certainly crack heads or meth addicts, it is certainly true that they probably also smoke pot. Meth does have those kinds of bad physical effects on people. I've known a few serious drug addicts and they look just plain sick. And they are!
*** Back in the 60s, the claim was pot was a "gateway" drug. Gateway in the sense that if you have to find a drug dealer to buy pot, you will probably get opportunities to try other drugs.
*** I think legalizing pot (yes, for recreational users as well) would be a very smart move for America -- all of those narco-gangs growing pot in our national forests would just vanish. Law enforcement would have more resources for serious crime and if it was taxed and sold through state outlets like alcohol is done in many states, well...
***But I am off topic. Sorry.

Wow, boy did I learn stuff today THAT I NEVER KNEW IN ALL MY LIFE.
People get together for coffee and cake sessions and they bring bongs (or whatever they are called), and they do MM.
NEVER EVER KNEW THIS IN ALL MY LIFE.
And this is funny, because tonight I am having my friendly neighbors over for coffee and cake (my lovely muffins), and other indulgences. I can't wait to see the look on their faces when I tell them "Do you know that people get together and do this and smoke pot?"
They will think I am off my mind.
So is it correct to ascertain that all of the people in the room have some kind of pain condition for which nothing else worked and pot does the trick.
And you have papers to prove that you should get a card?? Really?
THIS BEATS WOODSTOCK!!
lol

P.S. thanks for the information, I knew NOTHING about these things.
