Default We just don't know how good we have it

Now why isn't everyone?

I learned about him 1 1/2 years ago right before I had my radical pedicure and the timing was perfect. While I can't deny that there are moments I get a bit tired of spending my life rolling around on wheels (11 years now), I can't believe how lucky I am that I have the wheelchairs to do it in. If I was living in Mexico, I wouldn't be sitting in my Permobile C500 that's for sure. I also wouldn't have a computer to enjoy visiting with other fine people like you on, or even windows to keep the flies out, because for those who live south of the good old USA, this is their normal.

Last winter I visited my dad who lives in Cabo San Lucas Mexico and stayed at his inn where those who think nothing of jumping on a plane go down to relax and get away from it all. Meanwhile as I sat poolside video chatting with my wife 3,000 miles away my dad's housekeeper didn't understand what I was doing till my 4th week. That's when my dad explained that the lady on my computer screen was my wife and that we were chatting on his WI-FI. The housekeeper was as blown away as we were when man first stepped on the moon. She didn't really believe it was my wife.

Most have no idea that the notebook their sitting behind today costs an average of 25 - 50% more if you buy it in Mexico. The same goes for TV's, a refrigerator or any of the other things we take for granted. Heat/AC units only the wealthy have. If only people would spend half as much time thinking about the blessings we enjoy each day, they might figure out the pain isn't quite as bad and that life looks a whole lot better. I know I do each and every day. This wonderful guy is the perfect example of why we should never forget how good we really have it, even when there are days that get hard at times.
