better to avoid all caffeine before a long trip. (and of course, alcohol)
Coffee/tea/Coca Cola etc. Anything with caffeine makes you "go" more
often.
Totally avoiding water is not a good idea. Especially if you are on any drug
treatment.
Depending on your age, having to "go"often may be a bladder/neurological
issue and totally independent of water intake.
