Lightbulb My allergies consistently go away if....

I had allergies ever since I was about five. Hayfever. Sometimes they would be so bad that my face would swell and I looked deformed.

At one point I read Clark's Know Your Nutrition. I wrote down all the health issues I have and listed the foods she said would resolve the issues.

I then went to the grocery and bought all the things: nuts, grapefruit... I forget what else, but a LOT of stuff. I soon discovered that it takes a long time to eat everything you're supposed to eat... Anyway, my allergies went away.

But, I thought I'd finally grown out of them, the way doctors had always said, when I was young, that I would.

After some months had passed I got tired of spending all that time eating... for some reason it's not as fun eating grapefruit as it is eating donuts, so the time spent doing it can begin to feel tedious...

And... my allergies came back...

I didn't start eating all the healthy food again. I don't remember why.

Then, years later when doctor said I had profound B12 anemia I got a shot at the doctor's office... but it was so expensive that I thought I'd just get BComplex tablets and take them instead. I had no NO understanding of how B12 works.

Anyway, I used a bottle, at the rate of one a few times an hour with a lot of liquid... I had gotten the MegaB 50, I think it was. Not the very strong one.

Okay... so I was given another B12 test... and my B12 level had not improved one single point...

but, chamisa season was just beginning. Chamisa is wild sage with huge plumes of yellow, pollen laden flowers... usually the source of dreadful allergy discomfort... but... nothing. It wasn't irritating my eyes and I wasn't sneezing. I didn't see how that could be possible, so I walked up to one of the shrubs and took a huge whiff of the flowers, expecting to fall back in a sneezing fit... but no.

So, since then I've used MegaB vitamins to avoid allergies. I have to start using them before the allergy season, or they don't quite do the job...

MegaB also helps me with nasal drainage at night...
