I am sorry you are having such a painful time, my heart goes out to you. It sounds like your treatment is not working, and that you are considering some big decisions regarding surgery. I would agree with the previous posts that it sounds like now is a good time to get a second opinion. Surgery is always supposed to be the last option, and I would definitely recommend at least one second opinion if not more. In 10+ years, I can think of at least 4 times when I got second opinions when my treatment was not going well, or if I was considering something serious like surgery. Try to find the best CRPS specialist in your area (this forum may be able to help with that if you are having trouble) and make an appointment as soon as possible.
