Hi Band ~ I get into it a little more:

1. you have a herniation and bone spurs that touch on the spinal cord.

2. you have stenosis (narrowing) spurs, and a herniation that touches on the spinal cord.

3. same as above.

4. you have a herniation that pushes on the thecal sac (the sac that surrounds the disc I think) and stenosis

You need to see another doctor. that neuro was an idiot. you need to SHOW this mri report to someone, not TELL him about it. let him read it himself. get another referral soon. remember tho that surgery should be a last resort! god bless and best of luck. peace, lee
