Default Severe low pressure headaches??

I have a 5 year old son with congenital hydrocephalus. He had a VP shunt put in at 6 months. Over the past year he has had very bad headaches that they finally diagnosed as being due to low pressure. They gave him an abdominal binder and said he should outgrow them. 3 days ago he woke up vomiting and complaining of headache. After 24 hours, we were advised to take him to the ER. CT scans and x-rays were normal (as we suspected since we had just had them one week prior too). They gave him morphine and a IV fluids and sent us home. It has now been 3 days of not eating and non-stop sleeping and horrible headaches that are not even treated by codeine. Anyone else experienced this? If so, what was the treatment plan? I don't know how long he is expected to go on like this without any intervention.
