Default Help finding a doctor in NYC/Metro Area

Hi All,

I usually post on the RSD sight but I thought the folks on here might be able to help more.
Question: I had a accident and had a serious upper extremity inquiry expecially my elbow which is filled with titanium. It's been 7 years of surgeries, procedures, hours of travel to my doctors who finally saved my arm and got my functioning back. After all said and done except for the occassional maintance procedure for lingering situations from the accident I have leveled off to what life will be like forever and truly not so bad. I was able to optain permanent SSD and I am able to still work PT, the goverment allows a certain dollar figure per month you can make before they will deduct from my check. Which the work has been great theraputicly for my head if you know what I mean. Anyway I have one problem that really never got resolved. I was told that I possibly might have a neuroma in my elbow and a little PN in the area. I have constant pain in that area and the pain varies from good to bad. My surgeon who I had to beg to look for the neuroma by doing another surgery really did not want to go in the elbow area anymore due to the fact of what I went through to get my functioning back and keep the arm. But he did it and did not find it. My Pain Doctor also was at the surgery.

I apologize for rambling but I wanted to give some history. I have heard that PN Patients also have a tendency to get neuromas. I am looking for a very good doctor who deals with neuromas. I have done my own research and just keep running into my surgerons name and not that I don't want to go back to him he is wonderful but I know he won't do it. I have also read that Plastic Surgeons also deal with neuromas...

If anyone has any doctors in mind I would truly appreciate it. I am just spinning and wasting tons of time.

Thanks,.
