DC, A trip to the ER might be in order if only to get the wound checked for infection or possibly an antibiotic to prevent infection. To me, your pain meds do not seem to be extreme, but I am NOT a doctor, I just know that I have to take more than that. With that said, the ER may be able to help, especially if you have documentation from your pain doc or he calls ahead and lets them know that you are coming and that you are legitimate.
