Adenosine is used by the mitochondria during energy production. So it stands to reason, supporting the mitochondria, may improve pain levels too.

The supplement itself, appears iffy taken orally. I am still looking around about it.

Notice the ribose presence? Athletes typically use ribose (a sugar) for increasing energy.
