The reason the insurance gave the neuro for rejecting the prescription is because I walk independently with a cane and that it not a valid indicator that I have a gait problem. I have no idea what my neuro wrote in his report. So now he has to refer me to a physical therapist who has to evaluate my gait and whether or not ampyra may help. That is, if I want him to. I said -- of course! I doubt the therapists have ever heard of amprya. I think I will take some literature with me when I go for my appointment.
