Dear Hannah,

Is there some kind of block that is available for the face and head? Perhaps that would help? I'm so sorry, I don't know what else to suggest...especially since the ketamine didn't work, and infection has been ruled out.

If the meds aren't working, I would caution against taking too many in an effort to gain relief. Once you get to a certain point, their effectiveness starts to wane and you're not doing yourself any good by just popping the pills.

Another thought - have you tried methadone? Just 5 mg of methadone a few times a day worked wonders for my nerve pain last year when started to get really out of control. I had an an awful time with occipital pain in the back of my head.

I will keep you in my prayers. Much love, Sandy
