Please don't be confused with the milligrams on various Iron products. The 325mg ferrous sulfate is NOT 325 mg of IRON.
It is the total weight of the active ingredient which includes sulfate.

The elemental iron in a typical 325mg ferrous sulfate is around 60mg.
This explains it:

You can take the folate with the iron but do B12 separately. I'd take the B12 on an empty stomach 1 hr before a meal. Many people can use the cyano form, but since it is a old, synthetic version, and methyl is the activated one and not expensive we all recommend the methyl. Some people cannot activate cyano, but you won't know if you are one of them, until you find that your blood test results don't change with the cyano.

The way I look at it, is that people show up here with problems, and one of those causes may be a failure to activate B12 from cyano supplements. Use the cyano for now, but when you need more, then think about getting the methyl online.
