This explains it:

You can take the folate with the iron but do B12 separately. I'd take the B12 on an empty stomach 1 hr before a meal. Many people can use the cyano form, but since it is a old, synthetic version, and methyl is the activated one and not expensive we all recommend the methyl. Some people cannot activate cyano, but you won't know if you are one of them, until you find that your blood test results don't change with the cyano.

The way I look at it, is that people show up here with problems, and one of those causes may be a failure to activate B12 from cyano supplements. Use the cyano for now, but when you need more, then think about getting the methyl online.
Thanks for all the info. I was shocked I didn't have any stomach upset this morning after the iron. I will seperate the B12 from the rest of them. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your help. I have learned so much from this site. I think I will see if I can pick up the methyl form on line. Why wast e the time to see if the other works for me.
