With having RSD in hands and feet i find it difficult to do anything repetitive or doing anything for any length of time. Difficulty concentrating, distracted and tired. What do you do to fill your time, to feel productive? What simple activities do you do to make you feel good? I use to love exercise, outdoors, reading, fashion. momof4
When I first had my accident, expecially the first 4 years, I was either in the hospital, planning to go the hospital or recorvering from a surgery or procedure, including 3 ketamine 5 day inpatinet treatments. After things settled down after the 3rd ketamine treatment and I was feeling pretty good but could not do all the normal things I did before I got very bored and depressed. I could not return to full time work again so I was advised to apply for SSI, which I did. In my first denial, I am currently approved since, they said you can work PT, so I went and got a PT job. I could not do much but sit in front of the computer and do some type of accounting, I used to be a Business Consultant, traveled the country worked with many fortune 500 companies I loved it and miss it so much. Anyway, the mental theraphy it gave me was better then any phsyc. I could ever see. When you are on SSI you are able to earn a certain $ amount, it's not much but it's great for my head. I don't know what your able to do but maybe look in the paper, contact your local chamber of commerce, or maybe volunteer. I only go in 2 days a week but it is such a plus for me.......

Good Luck
