Have you ever tried actual accupuncture? I have not but had a phone consult. From what the lady described for the reasons it helped pain is because it helps with your sleep,stomach and eating,anxiety etc which in turn those things help with your pain. Not sure if that is accurate or what. I never had it due to how sensitive I am to even touch so can't give feedback on it from personal experience.
