Hi,

I asked for some help from my team about what to say. They emailed me some stuff. Probably only a dozen people will be at the lunch but the whole thing is making me upset and anxious.


WHAT WAS I THINKING to agree to this? The colleague that organized the lunch and then asked me to participate is well intentioned but clueless. I'm going to call him tomorrow and figure out a way out of this.

I can't talk in front of people.
I cannot be in the same room with my boss.
I can't sit through a whole lunch while we say good-bye to these people.


This summer really stinks.
Most summers I get a break.
