I am very interested in piriformis syndrome and have been researching it too. I have had absolutely no sucess treating it however. I would love to hear from you. I have tried all conservative treatments including stretching exercises, deep massage, acupuncture, all painful with no lasting relief.
The next one to try is botox injection. Going to google allodynia as haven't heard of it. I am 99% sure I have sciatica due to post traumatic piriformis syndrome, but I still need a consultant to concur, they all want to pass it off as a spinal issue.
Would love to hear your story and how you have managed with any treatments so far.
