Each probiotic lists the number of organisms on the bottle.
The higher quality ones have several different ones in them, and not just one. Also the better ones are in the refrigerator most of the time.

There are plain yogurts that don't have high sugar content in them. You can get the plain one and add stuff to it to spruce it up for your own taste.
There is even one at Kroger's called Carbmaster with only 4 grams of sugar!

Without knowing your B12 level, it is hard to say what to do.
If you have neuro symptoms, I'd start at 5mg a day of B12 on an empty stomach. You will respond much faster that way. B12 is not toxic and has no high upper limit listed for it.
