Couldn't really swear that it worked for the pain....I think i did notice slight improvement for several months.....
The thing I remember (in my case) was that it caused me to sweat profusely and overheat very easily.......kinda like being in a constant 'hot flash' .....
But! I also was dealing with Hypothyroid issues at that time as well, so maybe that had something to do with it.
