I certainly understand and respect why you wish to avoid meds at this point. I am a year younger than you with a 15 month old, so I fully understand where you are coming from. I also demand a great deal of 'normalcy' right now, so my biggest hope is that we'll at least have some better treatments in 10 years.

So you are saying you have been symptomatic for 8 years or diagnosed for 8 years? I am not entirely clear on how doctors even record that for us. I was assuming early stages because you did not say mention more advance symptoms, so I made some assumptions there.

I agree that you should have felt some difference from taking much mucuna. The only thing that seems plausible is questioning the purity of the mucuna you have. Maybe buy some from a different source, take a small dose, and see if you respond differently....
