Hi All,

I used to post on a few of these PN forums, but it's been years. I started having "tingling" feelings in my hands and feet in 2000 (very rapid onset - over the course of a few days). I was evaluated by three neurologists including Dr. Norman Latov who is affiliated with the neuropathy association. No cause was ever found (every test I had gave normal results). I haven't seen a neurologist in 8 years. I never got a skin punch biopsy, so technically I guess I don't even have a neuropathy diagnosis (although I bet I have small fiber idiopathic PN).

Long story short, I have had absolutely zero progression in 10 years. I'm not on any meds. My PN has always been very mild and has stayed that way. Is this uncommon? I can live with this (I'm 43). I used to be terrified that it was going to progress, but after 10 years of the same thing, I don't find myself worrying about it that much. Is anyone here in a similar situation (i.e., mild PN that has stayed the same for a really long time)?
