leggs, I was on Tramadol, before, during and after back surgery. I would even double the dosage, and take it more often (Sssshh don't tell anyone) because the pain was so bad before they opened my L-spine up. I had no problem stopping it at all.

Afterward a car accident injured my back almost in the same place. I also was on it for pain from that problem. I really took the bad edge off the pain. It doesn't have a long pain relieving effect, so that is why I took it more often than recommended.

Are you sure you didn't have a tummy bug? I had/have one now, for the last few days. I think it's making the rounds, my son had it and granddaughter also.

Maybe try another pain med.? I don't care for any SR medication, since absorption is so different with all of us. Also, not everyone can tolerate all meds the same. I hope you find one that works for you. Neurontin stopped working for me years ago.
