if her pdoc is overmedicating her i don't think it's bad to call a spade a spade. she deserves to be given some heads up on these things, especially if she is new to treatment.

if you feel you came on a little strong, you can always apologize for that, but i wouldn't apologize for your point of view... it is based on experience not alcohol. you might in fact remind her gently that you do have a genuine concern, even if you were too confrontational before. don't throw out the baby with the bathwater.
