Default Hi Allen,

No sleeping bags on the ground. Boy we use to do that. In Colorado it can be 100 in the mountains in the daytime and ice cycles hanging in the tent the next morning. By the time I figured out a tent didn't work, it was too late for me. My hips were giving me major problems from laying on the cold ground.

The kids have a cabin in the mountains now and it still gets cold in there.

Just make sure you are really padded from the ground no matter which way you go and plenty of covers if it gets cold at night.

I'm glad you are enjoying yourself. I love camping.
