I don't drink soda on a regular basis now. But I've had my share of soda when we get a pizza or eat fast food.

I don't buy it regularly and being retired I'm not tempted at work with a soda machine. But it was one of the things I thought of when the blood brain barrier was discussed. My mother was a Coca Cola addict [no alcohol] but soda everyday. We always had it growing up....did we want soda or milk for dinner? Who knew until later? Seems to me Coca Cola could burn a hole through lots of things.
