I've been hypothyroid for years...taking pills. Suddenly my TSH is low, so the pcp lowered the dose.
Then my neuro did a thorough exam and found that the thyroid is "very generous" in size, and told me to follow up with my pcp on it.
She sent me for an ultrasound before sending me to a specialist. Haven't heard back yet.
