Welcome to NeuroTalk...

Have you been evaluated at your regular doctor for diabetes, or insulin resistance? Your regular doctor can test you for B12 and Vit D deficiences which can impact the nervous system.

Alcohol induced neuropathies often resolve with proper diet, abstinence from alcohol, and high dose vitamins, including high dose Thiamine. Low B12 as well, can lead to nerve damage.
B12, D3, Thiamine and the other Bcomplex all are over the counter and would not be covered by insurance.

I think you should come over the our Peripheral Neuropathy forums and read for a while, to see what is there for you that might help.

You are already taking the drugs that many PNers get from doctors.
