Two thoughts from your comments - first, like someone else said, you need to keep your appointment and figure out what's going on. Someone else can babysit.

The second thought was prompted by your comment that the rash is painful - did anyone consider shingles? I had shingles the summer before my freshman year in high school, and it was a red bumpy rash that was INCREDIBLY painful. Just something to consider...
