I hope the natural fizz of good beer is harmless. But generic beer that tastes like beer flavored seltzer has got to be as bad as soda.
And natural fizzy water must be as safe as still water, or is it?
My daily treat this past year has been a small glass of Tonic Water with dinner. We call the drink Tonic and Tonic, and I don't even miss the gin. I can't drink wine, fruit juices are too sweet to drink with food, and I have never liked any soda - other than Tonic Water.....
My guess is that it is no better for me than Coke or Pepsi etc..
Bummer!!

It's not the fizz, it's the phosphoric acid found in most softdrinks. Your tonic water probably is OK but read the label.
