I replaced my morning coffee with the original AlkaSeltzer 8 days ago and it has raised my am urine ph from 5-5.5 to 6-6.5 and afternoon and bedtime readings to 6.5-7.0. It also reduced the burning in my feet and bladder. The feet still have the feeling of tightness, but over all I am feeling better especially in the afternoon and evenings. I use the Bayer test strips which test for glucose, billirubin, ketone, sg, blood, ph, protein, urobillnogen, nitrite and leukocytes. Thanks to mrsD for mentioning AlkaSelter in another post about acidity and burning pain. I still have a good deal of reading concerning body ph. One thing learned thus far we are what we eat and drink
