Default One more thought...

One thing I did learn the hard way was just because they say you don't have TOS doesn't mean you don't have it. It took almost 2 years to get my diagnosis, and in the mean time I had P.T. that aggravated my injury.

What ever you do...

DO NOT LET ANYONE MOVE YOUR ARMS IN ANY WAY THAT CAUSES PAIN!!

If they try to put you through range of motion, traction, stretches, etc. If any thing hurts at the time, and if it is worse the next day in an unusual way... different from "a work out sore"

don't let them do it again!!!


Document it as best you can. Take pictures of the swelling, show the p.t. your swelling or other symptoms (for me it was tremors after pool exercises) and be sure that it is written up!! All of this information can possibly diagnose your injury and support your case.

Eventually, some p.t. will be recomended, so try to cover yourself as best you can to prevent additional injury and again, support your case (if you have W.C.)
