Dear Donna
i hope you can get it worked out so whoever is filling your prescriptions respects the instructions and this doesn't have to keep happening. Folks don't deserve this treatment.
Dear Mari
it isn't just the pharmacies pretending.

the generics have to follow national regulations for equivalence. FDA in US, i don't know in mine, but there are regulations. but clearly those regulations are not good enough. and i don't know why but i think the AEDs are particularly problematic. even though i don't have seizures i took lamictal as an adjunctive antidepressant. when the generic came out i had to switch... my eyes went berserk - had nystagmus almost constantly. it was awful. (but doesn't even compare to having seizures all the time!) i cannot afford brand and had to stop taking it. i could not have got another script to try another generic for 2 months... and no assurance that it would be any better, either.
