I just stumbled upon this forum. If you can figure out how to contact me through this list, I can give you some information. I have done this procedure for many years. Just refilled a pump today, in fact. It is complex management and patient must understand that there is no magic, just wise use of technology. The technique is not hard for any experienced implanting physician. The management is somewhat specialized but not a mystery. Testing and trialing are pretty straightforward. No guarantee anyone is a good candidate without good trial. The primary reason doctors beg off is the incredible insurance hassle. Good luck. Your fatigue comes through in your post.
