Confused New and confused

I am new here today. I had a cerebral bypass on 4/22/10 followed by a coiling on the Friday before Mother's Day for a basilar aneurysm, unruptured, 1 x 1.2 cm, pressing on my brainstem, growing and unstable. I came through both procedures, although during the coiling, I came very close to death because the bypass decided to quit working and the stent was unplaceable because of the location. I know it was the skill of my radioneurologist and my neurosurgeon that I am very functional now, especially considering I had a stroke and a seizure in the days following my second procedure.

My question is this:
Is it normal to be tired, still be a little off balance and still have some minor vision problems? Should I try going back to work despite this? I am a therapist who visits people in their homes.
I don't want to seem ungrateful, as I am nearly back to "normal", but I guess I am unsure of myself and don't want to push too hard, but don't want to baby myself either.
Thanks for being there!
