Hi,
I just wanted to say hi and let you know how I'm doing.
I went into this surgery thinking it was one of those bounce back over night surgeries that I have had. This one hasn't been.
The pain is relieved in the areas we wanted it to. I'm still bloated from where they put air in my stomach to look around and the surgerical area is still very sore when I get up and move around. Yesterday I went out for awhile with a friend and I most likely shouldn't have done it.
When I talked to my Dr. Friday he laughed at me when I said I should be well by Monday. He says I have to schedule everything, even getting well.
I am on my Methadone so that has made me nauseated at times due to not being use to it. Also the Amitiza makes me nauseated when I first start it and I had to go off of it for the surgery so that could be a problem too.
It's just been kind of frustrating to me due to the fact that I do bounce back from surgery pretty fast. Also when you feel like you have things to get done you just get more frustrated.
I have been staying in bed mostly since the surgery. When I get up, it hurts where the surgery was and the swelling.
Kind of lonely today since everyone is busy doing their thing and I am still laying here in bed. It's not been my thing for a couple of years since I have gotten better with my RSD and other problems.
Also, a friend of mine ask me if this would solve my stomach problems or my constipation problems. No, it won't. We just have to take things one at a time like we have to take life one day at a time.
I hope all of you are having a good Sunday.
