just do not beat yourself up if you wander a bit. that is ok. you can't deprive yourself of all the foods you love. i can help you modify recipes. watch the portion size. have a piece a cake. it is ok. eating the whole cake is not. remind my thin athletic son of that. or my husband that a bowl of ice cream is NOT a mixing bowl full. he doesn't have a pound to lose either.
