The heat does not just "bother" me. It attacks me. It renders me useless. Literally. My vision gets blurry, I get tipsy, my legs turn to jello. It's not just that I'm unhappy with the temperature. My body is rebelling to it. I can't just turn it on and off whenever I feel like it.

Isn't that the truth!!
And don't even tell anyone you're tired and need to nap. You get a similar response. Although, I have to admit, those around me are not like that. They are very understanding and can always tell when I need a nap and sometimes even tell me to go take a nap. My balance goes out, I start getting weak, and my cognition goes to heck, slur my words, can think straight, you know the routine. It's pretty obvious I need to nap.
