There should be a healthy amount of gurgling in the gut due to the process of peristalsis as the various muscle groups in the stomach and intestines mix and push food through to prepare it for nutrient transfer in the intestines. If there is an absence of gurgling, there might be an absence of peristalsis and the presence of constipation and toxic bowel. Again, the Vagus Nerve is involved in regulating peristalsis.
