I have never taken Namanda, but my Grandmother did when she began signs of Alzheimers and Dementia. We took her to a Neuologist and she RX Namanda and another drug which I can't remember the name, anyway Namanda, as it was explained to us, was for Alzheimers Patients who at the very early stages of Alzheimers took Namanda and it was shown to dely and almost stop the progression of the Alzheimers. We did start her on it. It had some side effects such as nausea, headaches a little weak, which the doctor did say would happen but really try and get her through it because it will really help her. I wish I could remember that other medication it was important she took them together. She did not continue with it and today she is a mess. When I finish her I will try and get the name of the other drug.

Way are they giving this for RSD?
