Default Hot sunny weather

Hello from a first poster.
My query seems a little silly after reading about the very serious problems many of you are having because of MG but here goes anyway:
Can hot sunny weather have a dramatic affect on MG symptoms? I've been diagnosed with MG for a couple years (probably have had it for 4-5 years) and have the typical double vision, swallowing, chewing, muscle weakness symptoms. I take three 60mg Mestinon during the day which I split in two and take every two hours plus a 180mg time release pill for overnight. All has been quite good for the past year. I have just recently been golfing three times a week then suddenly, during a continuing spell of hot, sunny weather, I had to quit right on the course due to double vision, focusing etc. The same thing happened the next time. Plus, the 30 minute drive home had to be done with one eye closed the whole time. Things started to improve by at least 50% after being inside for an hour or two. Once again, a minor problem for those that can't even get out of bed but my neuro's office voice mail was full on Friday so I thought I would check-in here. BTW, thanks for sharing your experiences....have helped this lurker to understand MG much better.
