About an hour ago, I was sitting at the computer and I said to myself "Wait a minute, this is a program that is running, programs have settings, let me see what I can do".
I go up to the top of the weather page and I see the word settings. I click on it, and there, right in front of me is the option to:
TURN OFF ALERT SOUNDS!!!
BINGO!!!!!
life is good once more.
