My parents got a Lexmark printer/scanner and I can't say that I like the software interface /settings on it.
They had a Canon before that and I didn't care for it either.

I've had Panasonic, HP & Epson brands - printers, scanners & fax
and those are all pretty straight forward and easy to set up and use.

Haven't use a Kodak printer at all , so not much help on that .
