Everyone's situation is unique. What may occur for one person doesn't mean it will occur for the next. My heart does go out to you as I know how difficult it is to not be able to walk,or bath, or move yourself from a chair to a bed. I've been able to walk since my sugery. Two discs were removed and and cage put around three vertebre. This surgery is failing. Nerve damage to my legs is irreversible. My neuropathy continues to worsen. My days of being able to walk are numbered. I wish I had some true words of wisdom for you and I hope you find your answers. But what works for others may not work for you. I'm sure we all want to hear that the nerves are just taking longer to grow back. That may simply not be the case. Your situation is unique, as is mine, as is the next person. But hope, pray and don't give up trying anything (no matter how outlandish it may sound) to improve your situation. I wish you all the best. The very best to you and everyone. Good Luck.
