Hi, I am sorry you are having to go through all those appts. I am afraid that is the truth about it. The agencies do require you to go through mental exams, by a physician of their choosing. I did not have any trouble with this. I am depressed too, taking medications, and have some real anxiety issues. It will be OK. Just tell the Dr. the truth about what you are feeling. I think this is part of the process to qualify. This did not hurt my chances in getting dissability. I was worried about it too when I was asked to do this. Ginnie
