My time was in Berlin at the University. Did you ever make it to Dinkelsbuhl? Beautiful little walled town near Nurnberg. Rothenberg was nice too.
I understand the hard to pace mantra, our son suffers the same wondering why other soldiers don't carry their load well. Frustrates him. He just pushes harder. Thinks he wants to go Green to Gold, we'll see.
Hope that sharp stabbing pain is evening out now. Things will improve once your device is turned on. Then you get to go AHHHhhhhh..... and that is not a cry from jumping out of a perfectly good aircraft.
