Well, it's past 6 p.m. and my pain mgmt. dr.'s office still hasn't called me so I called my PCP and he's calling me in a prescription for Compazine (sp?) to help with the nausea as the phenergren isn't helping at all. I talked with the rep. again and he said that I could ask for him when I make my reprogramming appts. and he'd try to make sure he would be the one to help me.

I'm wondering if due to my other health problems (genetic immune system disease) that maybe we should have just put the implants in and waited for several weeks, giving me time to heal, before turning them both on. Between the soreness of all these incisions and having nausea and pain, it's very difficult to manage two remotes at once.

As my PCP's secy. said, I sure hope this all turns out to be worth it. I just saw the final surgery and hospital bills yesterday...totals to almost $150K for both implants Now, of course, that's what's being charged...will be interesting to see what my ins. company actually pays out.
Please keep me in your prayers as I'm going through a bit of a rough patch right now. Thanks!!
