I get twitchy and achy in the early morning BEFORE I eat, and I always think it is a low blood sugar thing.

I remember once doing a fast for the doctor's...for blood work, and having her and me both watch my left calf twitch like mad.
That reading was 70, which is low. I used to have really low fasting blood glucose when my hypothyroid was not being treated yet.

You can also get odd feelings in the legs if something is wonkey with your back.
